| Setting up Mac Mail for the first time: |

| Step 1: |
| Start Mail. |

| Step 2: |
If it is the first time you are setting up your account, a wizard will walk you through the steps. The screen below will guide you through this process. If not, skip to the next section.
Fill out the following information:- Full Name: The name you wish to have displayed when sending e-mail
- Email Address: Your cableone e-mail address
- Incoming Mail Server: Type mail.cableone.net
- Account Type: Select POP from the dropdown
- User Name: Your Cable ONE username
- Password: Your Cable ONE password
- Outgoing Mail Server: Type in mail.cableone.net

| Click OK. You should now be able to send and recieve email. |

| Adding your Cable ONE Account to Mac Mail: |

| Start Mail. |

| Step 2: |
| Click on Mail and then Preferences. On the bottom left of the new box, click on the + icon. This creates a new account. (View Screenshot) |

| In the Account Information tab click on the Account Type drop down and select POP. (View Screenshot) |

Under the Account Type button, fill out the following information:- Description: This is the name of your mailbox. (e.g. Moms Mailbox, Dads Mailbox)
- Email Address: Your cableone e-mail address. Your username is the first part of your e-mail address (without @cableone.net)
- Full Name: The name you wish to have displayed when sending e-mail
- Incoming Mail Server: Type mail.cableone.net
- User Name: Your Cable ONE username
- Password: Your Cable ONE password
- Outgoing Mail Server: Type mail.cableone.net (if it isn't there already)

| Click on the close button in the upper left corner. You should now be able to send and receive Cable ONE email. |
