| Mac Mail 10.5 First Time Setup |

| These instructions cover the wizard used the first time Mac Mail is configured. If you have other accounts in Mac Mail, please click here for more specific instructions. |

| Step 1: |
| Start Mail. |
|
| Step 2: |
Fill out the following information and then click on the continue button:- Full Name: The name you wish to have displayed when sending e-mail
- Email Address: Your Cable ONE e-mail address
- Password: Your Cable ONE password

| Step 3: |
In this section, fill out the following information and then click on the continue button:- Account Type: Select POP from the dropdown
- Description: Name this Email account. It can be anything you want that will readily identify to whom this box belongs. (Example: Mom's email or CableOne)
- Incoming Mail Server: Type mail.cableone.net
- User Name: Your Cable ONE username
- Password: Your Cable ONE password

| Your computer will now attempt to verify your settings. When it is done, click continue. (View Screenshot) |

| The next page will ask what Incoming Mail Security you require. Ensure that the dropdown says Password and click continue. (View Screenshot) |

On this page, fill out the following information and then click on the continue button:- Description: mail.cableone.net
- Outgoing Mail Server: mail.cableone.net
You do NOT need to check the authentication box, nor fill in any values there. (View Screenshot) |

| This page will ask if your Outgoing Mail Server needs Security. Make sure the Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is unchecked and the authentication dropdown is None. Click on continue. (View Screenshot) |

| You should see the Account Summary page at this point. Please review the settings and click on the Create button. (View Screenshot) |

| Step 9: |
| You have successfully configured the Macintosh Mail 10.5 program to receive your CableONE e-mail. |
