Disable of Inactive Mailboxes
Effective October 1st, 2008 Cable ONE will be disabling inactive mailboxes
To ensure the high performance of our mail services, mailboxes found to be inactive, meaning unchecked for 90 days, will be disabled. In doing so, the disabled mailbox will no longer be able to receive new mail messages, preventing additional messages from accumulating in an unused mailbox.

This does not affect any other services connected to your Cable ONE username, including other mailboxes, on your account, that are actively being used.

If you find that your mailbox has been disabled and would like to begin using it again, please follow the steps outlined below:
  1. Log into MyAccount.cableone.net using your primary Cable ONE username and password
  2. Move your mouse pointer over the “My Family” wording at the top of the page and select “Mail Quota” from the list that appears.
  3. The disabled mailbox will be highlighted in yellow for easy discovery
  4. Select the “Click here to activate email” link next to the disabled username
  5. Once selected, a red notice should appear informing you that the enable was successful.
Notice: Mailbox can take up to 30 minutes for proper operation after completion of this step
