What do you use the address book for?
The address book is a way to store email addresses and contact information for your contacts. It enables you to stop having to memorize all those email addresses, instead centralizing them to single, easily accessible, location.
How do I add a new address?
To add a new contact to your address book, select the “Addresses” link at the top of the page. This will take you to your address book. Select the “New Contact” link on the left hand side to be directed to the new contact page. Fill in all the desired fields for your contact and select “Add Entry” on the left hand side to add the new contact. You should be redirected to the main page where your new contact is now listed.
Can I create a group of addresses to send emails to?
Yes you can. Select the “Addresses” link at the top of the page to be taken to your address book. Once there you will see a link on the left hand side titled “New Group”. Select this link. You should now be looking at a blank group entry page. Name the group, choose the email addresses you would like to be included in the group from your address book, fill in any other desired fields, and then select the “Add Entry” link on the left hand side to save that new group. You can now send emails to all email address just by selecting the group.
I have a large address book already in Outlook Express, how do I transfer that information to MyMail?
To move all your addresses from Outlook Express to MyMail, you need to start by exporting the information from Outlook Express. To do this open Outlook Express, select “File” at the top of the program, go down to “Export” and choose “address book” from the pop-out box. In the first window choose “Text File (Comma Separated Values)” and press the Export button on the right hand side. Fill in the field to name the file you are creating and select next. You now have the option to choose all the fields you would like to export. Once you have done so, select the “Finish” button at the bottom. You have now exported your address book from Outlook Express.

Now we need to import this file into MyMail. Log in to http://mymail.cableone.net with the desired username and password and select the “Addresses” link at the top of the page. You should now see a link on the left hand side titled “Import”. Select this link. This will redirect you to the import address book page. Leave the first two options as they are: Import type equals CSV File and First row contains CSV column description equals checked. For the Select file to import option, press the Browse button on the right hand side and find the Outlook Express exported file we created in the above paragraph. Once you have that, select the “Import File” link on the left hand side. This should now have uploaded your Outlook Express file and imported all information into your address book.
