| Settings for Microsoft's Outlook Express 5 & 6 |

| Step 1: |
| Open Outlook Express and click on the word Tools across the top. Slide your mouse down and click on the word Accounts. (View Screenshot) |

| A new window will appear, click on the Mail tab across the top. Click the Properties button on the right. If there are more then one account displayed, select the desired account first and then click the Properties button. (View Screenshot) |

| Another window will appear. In the Email Address field, it should read your username@cableone.net,
double check there are no spaces and that you are using periods ".". Click on the Servers tab at the top.(View Screenshot) |

| Your incoming mail server is a POP3. For Incoming Mail (POP3) and Outgoing Mail (SMTP) make sure they are mail.cableone.net, double check there are no spaces and that you are using periods ".". In the Account Name field it is just your username (without @cableone.net). Click the Connection tab across the top.(View Screenshot) |

| Do NOT check "Always connect...", Outlook Express will use the same as Internet Explorer to connect.

| No changes are made to the Security. Click the Advanced tab across the top.(View Screenshot) |

| Outgoing Mail (SMTP) is 25 and the Incoming Mail (POP3) is 110. Click OK and then click Close.(View Screenshot) |
