| Step 1: |
| Open Outlook 2000. Click on the word Tools across the top and slide your mouse down, clicking on Services(View Screenshot) |

| A new window will appear. Select Internet E-Mail and then click Properties.(View Screenshot) |

| In the Email Address field, it should read your username@cableone.net. Double check there are no spaces and that you are using periods ".". Click on the Servers tab across the top.(View Screenshot) |

| Your incoming mail server is a POP3. For Incoming Mail (POP3) and Outgoing Mail (SMTP) they are mail.cableone.net. Double check there are no spaces and that you are using periods ".". In the Account name field it is just your username (without @cableone.net). Click on the Connection tab across the top.(View Screenshot) |

| Under the Connection tab, check next to Connect Using My Local Area Network (LAN). Click on the Advanced tab across the top. (View Screenshot) |

| Under the Advance tab, Outgoing Mail (SMTP) is 25 and the Incoming Mail (POP3) is 110. Click OK and then click Close.(View Screenshot) |
