Where can I find my wireless security password/passphrase/security key?
You can visit myaccount.cableone.net to view the name of your network (SSID) and its password under My Wi-Fi. To navigate to My Wi-Fi, log into My Account, open the My Plan drop-down, then click on My Wi-Fi.
Note: you must be connected to the modem (via Wi-Fi or Ethernet) at the service address in question.
Default Password on the Modem/Router
Alternatively, your default wireless password/passphrase/security code can often be found on a small sticker located on the back, side, or bottom of your wireless modem or router.
If you have changed your password and forgotten it, simply hold the reset button on the back of your modem for 30 seconds. This will reset your password to the default.

These modems have a sticker with barcodes on the back, where the cables connect. The sticker with wireless details will be located between the electrical and coaxial cables. Wireless Routers and Other Modems
While Cable ONE does not directly support the large number of various wireless routers and modems that are currently on the market, each manufacturer will generally include support documentation with their products. Some brands will have a similar configuration to our modems where the key can be found somewhere on the unit, but this is not always the case. Please refer to the manufacturer's documentation for details specific to your brand and model of modem or router.
