How do I connect my iPhone to my wireless network?
Connecting your iPhone to a wireless network is easy! Please follow the steps below:
Before you begin, make sure you know the wireless settings of your router such as the wireless network name (SSID) and the network key or password. Click here for help locating your wireless netwrok key/passphrase/passcode.
Step 1: On your Home screen, tap the "Settings" icon.
Step 2: Tap "Wi-Fi".
Note: If the Wi-Fi feature is OFF, tap or slide the Wi-Fi switch to the right to activate.
Step 3: Make sure the Wi-Fi is switched ON.
Step 4: Under Choose Network Tap your router’s wireless network name (SSID).
Note: iPhone versions prior to the iPhone 5 can only detect the 2.4 GHz wireless network.
Step 5: Enter your router’s wireless security key or password and tap "Join".
Step 6: Enter your wireless key/passphrase/passcode. If you do not know your wireless key, click here for help locating this.
Note: If your wireless network is unsecured, your iPhone should be able to connect to it after tapping your wireless network name.
