Step 1: On the Start Screen, swipe your finger from left to right to bring up the App list, tap 'Settings', then tap 'Email + "Accounts'.
Step 2: Tap 'Add Account' and 'Advanced Setup'.
Step 3: Enter your Cable ONE email address and password, then tap Next.
Step 4: Select Internet Mail.
Step 5: For Incoming Email Server
If using POP, select POP3. Then enter 'mail.cableone.net:995'.
This tells the phone your POP mail server is mail.cableone.net using SSL server port 995.
If using IMAP, select IMAP4, then enter 'mail.cableone.net:993'.
This tells the phone your IMAP mail server is mail.cableone.net using SSL server port 993.
Step 6: Enter your Cable ONE user name. This should include @cableone.net
Step 7: For Outgoing Server
If using SSL, enter 'mail.cableone.net:465'.
If using TLS/STARTTLS, enter 'mail.cableone.net:587'
Step 8: Outgoing Server Requires Authentication should be checked.
Step 9: Use the same user name and password for sending mail should be checked.
Step 10: Tap Sign in.
If you do not receive any error message, then your account has been successfully created.
If your account cannot be created, your settings may be incorrect. If you feel the issue is password related, try resetting your password at http://mypassword.cableone.net
