My audio and video are out of sync. How do I resolve this?
If there is a slight lag between the audio and video, please perform the following steps:
Step 1: Check the audio inputs on the stereo or A/V receiver. If you are using an A/V receiver, both the audio and video should pass from the source to the DVR, through the stereo or A/V receiver, and then to the TV.

The audio does not match the video:
The DVR, like many TVs, has an SAP (Secondary Audio Program) option. If set incorrectly, this can cause unexpected audio effects.
Step 1: Check the SAP setting on your DVR
TiVo with HD menus: Go to TiVo Central > Messages & Settings > Audio > Alternate Audio > Default Audio Program.
TiVo with SD menus: Go to TiVo Central > Messages & Settings > Audio > Television Audio.
Step 2: If SAP has been selected (has a yellow check mark) ), highlight the Main option and press SELECT. If it has not, or if you change the setting and the problem persists, check your TV settings as well. (Refer to your TV's manual for instructions.)
